ProgressNow Nevada is hosting a free movie screening of the documentary "Koch Brothers Exposed" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 26.

This documentary was produced by Robert Greenwald of Brave New Films. Following the film, there will be a discussion about how to counter the 1 percent's money in politics with smart grassroots activism by the 99%.

This event will be held at the ProgressNow Nevada office, located at 708 S. Sixth St., Las Vegas 89101. Parking is on the side and back of building or on street.

We hope you plan to join us Saturday, July 21, for our annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner as the Democratic Party celebrates women in contrast to the GOP war being waged against them.  

We have an all-star lineup of women of distinction.  Our keynote speaker is Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, our next United States Senator!  We're very pleased to present Barbara Buckley, the first woman to serve as Speaker of the Nevada Assembly, as our Master of Ceremonies.  And we'll honor long-time activist Bobbie Gang and the Nevada Women's Lobby for their distinguished record of advocacy on behalf of women, children, and families in Nevada.  

We will have some wonderful auction and raffle items, and one-of-kind table centerpieces will go home with the highest bidder at each table.
