Pro-life activist Randall Terry founded the organization Operation Rescue and has been arrested nearly 50 times for blockading entrances to abortion clinics. He has also served a cumulative total of just over one year for convictions along the same lines. A long time Republican, he is now a Democratic candidate for President in 2012  for the purpose of  airing a commercial during Super Bowl XLVI featuring graphic photographs of aborted fetuses
